Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information try99 ("we," "us") collects when you visit try99.app, request a website build, or use our services, and how we use it.

Contact and intake information: name, business name, email, phone number, service area, services offered, and design preferences you submit through our forms. Account information: email and login credentials, managed through our authentication provider (Memberstack), used to access your client portal. Payment information: processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Communications: records of calls, texts, voicemails, and emails between you and try99, including for quality and support purposes. Caller information: when someone calls your AI phone receptionist number, we collect their name, phone number, and request details, along with a call recording and transcript, to provide you a summary and call history. Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and similar analytics data collected automatically via cookies once you've accepted them.

To build and deliver your website, process payment, provide support, send transactional and (with consent or opt-out available) marketing communications, improve our service, and comply with legal obligations.

We use cookies for essential site function and, where enabled, analytics (Google Analytics). You'll see a cookie notice on your first visit; non-essential cookies only run after you accept them. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser at any time.

We share information only with the service providers who help us operate: our payment processor (Stripe), authentication provider (Memberstack), email and SMS delivery providers (Resend, Twilio), our AI phone receptionist provider (Retell AI, using telephony infrastructure from Twilio), our AI content-generation provider (OpenAI, used to generate website copy from the business information you provide), our hosting and database providers (Vercel, Supabase), error-monitoring software (Sentry) that helps us find and fix bugs, and analytics providers, solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your business information to train AI models. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Calls to a try99 AI phone receptionist number are recorded and transcribed. At the start of every call, the receptionist identifies your business by name, discloses that the caller is speaking with an automated assistant, and notifies callers that the call may be recorded — including in states that require consent from all parties to a recorded call. Recordings and transcripts are shared with the business whose number was called, through their try99 portal.

You can opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time (unsubscribe link, reply STOP, or email support@try99.app). You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@try99.app. As a California-based company, we extend California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) rights, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion, to California residents; we do not sell or share personal information as defined under that law.

We keep different kinds of information for different lengths of time, based on what they're used for. Call summaries and receptionist records are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after cancellation. Website and intake content is kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation. Billing and referral records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Records of an opt-out (for example, texting STOP) are kept indefinitely so we don't contact you again. We delete or anonymize information once these periods pass, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Our service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy periodically; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
